Participants of Amity's Women Development Project in Gansu Province
The Amity Foundation and Bread for the World (BftW) are searching for experts for the evaluation of Amity's Women Development Project in Anding County, Gansu Province. The evaluation team should consist of a team leader and one co-evaluator and assess the impact and appropriateness of the
project. At least one of the team members should be Chinese citizen and the evaluation should take place from 15 September to 15 December.
Geographically the project covers two administrative villages of Nei Guanying Township in Anding County, Gansu Province. The two villages are chosen because the bad living circumstances, particularly for women. The development project aimed to help local communities and especially women to solve following problems: work overload and overtime because of lack of labor force, lack of agricultural professionalism, lack of opportunities and insufficient capacity for women to develop themselves and the community. After almost three years since the beginning of project implementation, major project actives have been finished as scheduled.
The evaluation aims to assess the appropriateness, relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and impact of the support provided to the target communities. The team of evaluation specialists should consist of a team leader and one co-evaluator. At least one of the team members should be Chinese citizen. The evaluation supposed to be finished on 15 December with a final evaluation report. An inception report will be required until end of October.
