The Amity Foundation

From 20 to 26 January, the Amity Foundation held its annual Winter Conference for overseas volunteers, long-term teachers and its Chinese partner organizations in Fujian Province. The purpose is to exchange best-practices, volunteering and work experience.

On January 8, 2018, the Amity Foundation and the church of Gansu Province held a launching ceremony and established a joint fund to provide social services for people in need.

On January 5, the Amity Foundation and Taiwan Bethany Children's Home signed an agreement to cooperate on training and exchange of social services across the Strait.

The Amity Bakery announced on 15 December to expand its services to Kunshan City. Therefore, the Amity Foundation teamed up with the Jen Ching Memorial Hospital and the Kunshan Loving Care School providing vocational training for young people with special challenges.

The new Amity Outlook is published. Our quarterly publication No.19 focuses on social workers in China. Over the past decade, social work in China has undergone significant development. This issue explains and informs about the rise of social work in China and introduces Amity's programs in this field.
