Home of Blessings

The Amity Home of Blessings was an initiation of a group of people including the staff of the Amity Foundation, social workers as well as parents of potential clients, who were endeavoring to provide humanitarian assistance to people with special needs. As the first of its kind in Nanjing, it was registered as a non-profit organization in Gulou district government and went into operation in early 2002 to serve the adults with learning or intellectual disabilities as well as those with mild mental disorders without violence in the age group between 16 and 40.

Our vision:

The Amity Home of Blessings must become one of the most credible and trustworthy professional institutions in serving adolescents and adults with mentally Challenged.

Our Mission:

Lifelong care and education are available for people with mentally challenged.

Our Objectives:

It is our aim to help enhance the abilities of the target people in participating in social activities and add to the building up of a more inclusive society so as to facilitate the people we serve to be integrated with the mainstream society and enjoy a normal life like other citizens.
