Nanjing Amity NGO Development Center was established by the Amity Foundation in October 2009. The Center is a new attempt by Amity Foundation encourage the development of NGOs and social construction within the boundaries of society to meet new historical conditions and challenges. The Center aims to; provide help and support to fledgling NGOs; create a platform for communication between social organizations, local government, enterprises and academic communities; and promote the development of civil society.
Aims
Social Organization Incubation
Besides providing free office facilities to them, the Center helps each organization to improve its organizational structure in order to implement best practices and to achieve sustainable development.
NGO Capacity Building
To help grassroots organizations build their comprehensive strengths by offering training courses like NGO Development, Financial Management, Project Management, Team Building, Volunteers Management, Fund Raising, and SWOT Analysis and so forth
Venture Philanthropy
To mobilize a wide variety of resources and recruit public welfare projects to promote the development of NGOs and philanthropic groups. In the meantime, the Center also encourages college students to start their own philanthropic ventures.
Research and Evaluation
By connecting experts and resources at home and abroad, and by searching training models for NGO development, the Center identifies the best methods and materials for building capacity in grassroots organizations. Meanwhile, the Center researches evaluation patterns for NGOs in order to encourage healthy, self-disciplined of the NGOs development and help the organizations to be capable of evaluating and monitoring government projects.
Building a Platform for Communication and Cooperation
To organize regular public welfare forums and workshops to promote cooperation and communication within and between NGOs, government, private sector, academia, and media in order to share information and achieve win-win goal.

Firefly Center for the Differently Abled
Founded in March 2007, the Center for the Differently Abled was registered in Nanjing Gulou District Civil Affair Bureau in 2008. It advocates the equal dignity and rights for the disable people. Its mission is to ensure the equal participation of disabled people in all aspects of society, so that they may enjoy the full benefits of social and economic progress. The Firefly Center organizes events and programs to provide comprehensive disability care, focusing particularly on care at home. In these ways, this NGO hopes to encourage more people to consider and respect vulnerable social groups.

Mochou Lake Environmental Protection Association
Founded in July 2007, the Mochou Lake Environmental Protection Association is a grassroots organization formed by Yu Lan Li Community residents and student volunteers. This organization aims to protect the ecological environment of Mochou Lake through public education and community events.
Yunde Leling Center for In-Home Senior Care
Founded in April 2005, the Yunde Leling Center for In-Home Senior Care provides high-quality, professional services to support aged-care at home. After several years of development, the Yunde Leling Center has administered over 450,000 hours of government-funded services, and provided grocery delivery and housekeeping services to over 50,000 people. Meanwhile, the center has organized over 70,000 volunteers to provide aged-care at home and trained 8,000 home care workers and organizational nursing servants.

Kun Opera Development Center
The Kun Opera Development Center seeks to preserve, promote traditional Kun opera by nurturing younger generations who could pass on knowledge of Kun songs, art, and culture. The Center also works to introduce Kun opera to school campuses through compiling textbooks on Kun songs. In addition, it provides local community education on the opera in order to inherit and promote Kun culture.
