On March 15, more than 600 people gathered in Shatin to take part in Amity’s Walk for Living Water Day 2014. This is in response to the annual UN campaign of World Water Day
Altogether 150 volunteers, young and old, supported Amity's activities on this day

Bead art and face painting were highly popular among the young people
It was an exciting day for all volunteers and participants
The Strong Men Contest tested participants muscle power and teamwork
The United World College (UWC) team won the contest as well as the costume competition
The Walk was officiated by Mr. Stephen Lam Sui Lung, the former Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong and Mr. Enoch Lam Tin Sing the Director of Water Supplies Department
With the help of schools, churches, corporations, youth groups and other associations Amity advocates for water related issues in Hong Kong and the Mainland
More than 600 people, many of who were kids accompanied by their parents, took part in this year's activities
Mr. Stephen Lam Sui Lung gave the starting signal for the Walk
U.N. World Water Day's theme 2014 is ''water and energy''. All monies raised from the Walk will be used to build water facilities for schools in Yunnan.
In order to support Amity's campaign to raise awarness for water related issues, 450 Walkers attended Amity's Walk for Living Water 2014 round the Shatin's embankment
