Heavy rains are hitting southern China since the end of June. The disaster has caused floods, landslides and hailstorm, killing at least 56 people and making another 22 missing. The Amity Foundation quickly responded to the disaster on July 6, sending rice, mosquito incense and other aid packages.
The Hong Kong Government announced a grand of HKD 4.64 million to the Amity Foundation to provide life-saving water trucking, purification materials and hygiene kits for people affected by the drought in Ethiopia.
