Tao Fong Shan, conference, Cold-War impact on Asian churches, Lutheran Theological Seminary

Seventeen scholars from eight countries and regions gathered at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Hong Kong to present papers and engage in discussion on “Christianity and the Cold War in East Asia, 1945-1990”. This was the first academic conference held in Asia to discuss the Cold War and its impact on Asian churches.
