On November 7 and 8, 2014, the Amity Foundation organized an international symposium on elderly services and cognitive disorders in Nanjing under the name 'Love Does Not Forget'. More than 240 participants from more than 30 Chinese and foreign institutions, who are working in this area of concern, attended the two-day conference.
The 5th Amity Foundation International Symposium on Autism was held in Nanjing on October 11-15, 2014. Professionals from Chinese special education and health sectors participated, along with experts from the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and others from 22 domestic non-governmental organizations involved in autistic children’s rehabilitation.
The world's 65th Benny Award price giving ceremony was held in Chicago on September 28, 2014. Amity’s 100 Millionth Bible Edition won the Benny Award. Jeff Ekstein, chairman of the board of printing industries of America, presented Luke Liu, general manager of Nanjing Amity Printing Corporation with the prize and bestowed a bronze Benny statuette to commemorate the win.
On 21–24 October 2014, the Second ACT Alliance General Assembly was convened in the Dominican Republic in Punta Cana. About 200 delegates from 140 countries from around the world were present at the meeting, held under the motto "Join Hands – Full Life and Dignity for All". As a member of ACT Alliance, the Amity staff also attended the meeting.
On 4 November 2014, a delegation led by Elder Fu Xianwei, chairman of the National Committee of the Three-self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Churches in China (CCC/TSPM), visited the Amity Foundation and the Amity Printing Company in Nanjing.
