The Amity Bakery announced on 15 December to expand its services to Kunshan City. Therefore, the Amity Foundation teamed up with the Jen Ching Memorial Hospital and the Kunshan Loving Care School providing vocational training for young people with special challenges.

The new Amity Outlook is published. Our quarterly publication No.19 focuses on social workers in China. Over the past decade, social work in China has undergone significant development. This issue explains and informs about the rise of social work in China and introduces Amity's programs in this field.

Cooperatively launched by the Amity Education and International Exchange Division and the YU Theater, the Heart Wings Children’s Theater Program offers charitable mime courses to children aged from 4 to 18 in schools with limited teaching resources.

On November 21, 2017, Sean Stein Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai visited the Amity Foundation. General Secretary Mr. Qiu introduced Amity's history and told the visitors about the current work and the latest developments in Amity and within the sector.
