Amity and Changzhou Church team up to promote Social Services

On April 28, the Amity Foundation and the Changzhou Christian Church officially signed an agreement to establish the 'Amity Changzhou Christian Chongshan Fund'. Amity´s General Secretary Mr. Qiu Zhonghui, Deputy General Secretary Mr. Chu Chaoyu, representative church leaders of the Three-Self Patriotic Association of the Prefecture-level city of Changzhou, as well as local government officials, participated in the founding ceremony.

The fund, which is jointly sponsored and established by the Amity Foundation and the Changzhou Church aims to promote the development of social services of Christian churches in the region and contribute to social and economic development of the southern region of Jiangsu Province. The fund will support the standardization and efficiency to provide services for people in need.

This fund has been the fifth special fund established by the Amity Foundation and local churches and the first special fund on a municipal level in Jiangsu Province. The fund´s management committee consists of 15 members. Qiu Zhonghui was elected as the general adviser of the fund. Chu Chaoyu and Liang Huaping were elected as the General directors of the management committee.
